Account Deletion

Delete TaskDrop account data

Effective date: May 18, 2026

TaskDrop uses GitHub and Linear OAuth so you can create issues in the provider you choose. You can disconnect access yourself, and you can also request deletion of TaskDrop account data.

Request Deletion

Email maskaravivek@gmail.com with the subject "TaskDrop account deletion". Include the GitHub or Linear account email used with TaskDrop so we can identify the account.

What We Delete

We delete TaskDrop account records and authentication records associated with the account where technically available. We do not keep a TaskDrop task-history database, so submitted task text is not retained as a separate TaskDrop history. If you used GitHub image attachments, we also delete TaskDrop-hosted attachment images associated with the account where technically available.

What May Be Kept Elsewhere

Issues already created in GitHub or Linear remain in those services until you delete them there. Deleting TaskDrop-hosted GitHub images may cause image links in existing GitHub issues to stop rendering. GitHub, Linear, Supabase, Firebase, and Google may retain records according to their own policies and legal requirements.

Disconnect Provider Access

You can remove TaskDrop access from your GitHub or Linear account settings. You can also clear local TaskDrop data from Android settings.

Retention

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons may be kept only as long as required for those purposes.
